ADR Booking Problem - What would you do?

So, I'd been stalking to upgrade my 8:20a ADR at Crystal Palace for an 8:05a. I was finally able to do it, but naturally, the website was acting up. :headache: I got the standard screen post booking with my confirm number, but it didn't prompt me to cxl my 8:20a ADR and it didn't generate a confirmation email. It's not the first time this has happened to me, but I've always been able to go to my personal reservation pg- input the confirm # plus my phone number- and link it to my reservations. HOWEVER, no such luck doing that this time. I just keep getting a msg that there are problems with the reservation portion of the site.

I tried several days in a row to get it to work, but no such luck. I decided to call Disney Dining in hopes of getting things fixed, but I got a very unprofessional person who also was very confused about things. After explaining my story, I got a very loud and annoyed sigh. The tone in her response that she could assist me after that sounded like I'd just asked her to do something horrible. I probably should have hung up at this point and tried again, but I was in a time crunch. She then dotted every other sentence with the word "magical" to the point where it was kind of patronizing. She did say my 8:05a ADR confirm # is valid and in the system, but then she tried to tell me that I couldn't cxl my 8:20a on my own b/c the system doesn't allow it. I corrected her -saying I could cxl online and after battling on that point a few times she finally realized that it was modification that I couldn't do. She offered to cxl the 8:20a for me at this point and said she could link it up to my ADRs showing in my online, but I didn't have much trust in her at this point and needed to get back to work- so I declined and we ended the call.

Obviously, I will eventually need to get that 8:20a adr cxld due to the CC guar issues, but would you just call back and try for a better CM on the phones? or would you wait a while longer to see if the issues with the website correct long enough for me to fix this on my own?

Also, I can't remember- can the phone CMs link it to my profile so it shows up online? Or am I pretty much relying on their word that the confirm # is valid?

I'd call again. 1) It can't hurt, and 2) after the computer glitch I wouldn't trust the computer.

I had a similar problem and later I was able to see the ressies the cm made. There is also an update button on the right side of the my reservation screen that I pushed to bring up ressies I made today but didn't show up right away. I don't know why the cm's have to be so rude- mine was okay but didn't care to hear about the computer glitches-you'd think they'd want to fix the tech issues. Bottom line glad we got our ressies!!!!!!

Thanks for the insight! I called today and got a MUCH better person. :goodvibes She still thinks it's odd that it is not appearing in the online system, but confirmed the ADR is legit. She said the system is acting more wonky than usual. Right now their systems aren't even reflecting all of the online ADRs. Strange, but she said everything I'm seeing on my end is legit as well.

I think this may be a sign to leave my ADRs along unless I'm able to get BoG for our dates.
