Could anyone offer some advice/opinions to help me make a decision on ADR's for my trip in May??

I have completely changed/cancelled/ rebooked, etc the heck out of some ADR's ummm... at least 9 times.:rolleyes1

Background: My DD2 and myself are  IN LOVE with WDW and would spend everyday there if we could. My DH? well, he goes because we go. Sooo... to show his amazing love for the two of us (three if you count his mom), he is sending me, DD2, my mom, and my MIL on a "Girls Only Getaway " for Mother's Day this year.

The Specs of the trip: Checking in Friday, May 6th at Coronado Springs on the DELUXE DINING PLAN (my first time) and checking out on Sunday, May 8th.

The GOAL: Make everyone happy with my choices, and get my money's worth, without having to leave where we're having fun and travel clear across "the world" to make an ADR. Transportation has been my main reason for so many changes.

After the nine-or-so changes to my ADR schedule, here's what id currently showing under my reservations:

DXDP Totals: 18 Table/Counter "meals," 12 snacks.

Friday AM- Arrive early morning (hey, I'm from Daytona, don't judge) :goodvibes, grab a pastry at pepper market with me, mom, DD2, while waiting for MIL to arrive from South Florida. (-2 SNACKS)

Friday LUNCH- CAPTAIN's GRILLE 1:50PM Take bus to boardwalk, walk to Yacht Club (-3 TABLES)

Now, I hold an annual pass, but I purchased "Epcot after 4" annual passes for the moms, so we can only go to Epcot, only after 4... So I figured IF there was any time left between lunch, walking to the International gateway, etc... we could explore boardwalk area or grab a drink at Hurricane Hanna's.

Friday DINNER- BIERGARTEN 6:45PM My mom's request. Then watch Illuminations and catch bus back to CSR. (-3 TABLES)

Saturday BREAKFAST and LUNCH- PEPPER MARKET (no time specified) I don't plan on making ADRs for this morning, only because MIL likes her sleep, and DD2 likes her pool time. I plan on snack for breakfast, full counter service for lunch. (-3 SNACKS, -3 TABLES)

We will be at Epcot Gate at 4PM, snack somewhere in the WS and explore... (-4 SNACKS, we'll give DD2 one, but ordinarily, she shares with me)

Saturday DINNER- LE CELLIER 8:20PM My  favorite restaurant. there is EMH at Epcot that night, so two-year-old-behavior permitting, we may meander a while, then bus back to CSR (-6 TABLES)

Sunday LUNCH- I know we'll skip break fast because getting everyone up and packed will be enough! :rotfl: so... LUNCH- RAGLAN ROAD 12:30PM, then grab "doh bars" from Cookes of Dublin on the way out of DTD, and back home. (-3 TABLES, -3 SNACKS)

I was hoping to do a signature restaurant this go-around to WOW the moms, but I don't know, what do you think? (I still don't count Le Cellier in my heart because it just changed to 2 credit...)

sounds good to me...I like your way of thinking of where you want to be and the food stationed around it...
Biergarten is on our list too for our next visit to the House of the Mouse...
I hope that your little one will be up for the tour....She may snooze in the carriage so you can do late night in Epcot....never can tell...:goodvibes..

I forgot the mom's only have epcot after four passes.....I was hoping that you could do the Princesses at Norway....such a good breakfast there.....I dont know about their luncheon or dinner time foods..
HAVE a great time and dont forget a little lime green ribbon to tell the world you are from the DIS....I always do this on my fanny pack......

This idea isn't a complete impossibility.. hmm... I could just use one of MY credits to take DD2 by myself in the morning, and the moms could sleep in and use their credits for lunch at Pepper Market. But then, Cami would miss pool time, which (odd for a little girl I know) I think she'd prefer the pool. BUT, that is an excellent idea for our trip in March, when I actually AM dragging DH :woohoo: We're staying at Nick Hotel that trip, and I am so mad at that place right now, that I'd prefer to spend every available moment in WDW.:cheer2: Thanks Pumba!!

you have about what you need. You're limited to Biergarten dinner one night with the after 4:00 PM tickets and your mother's request. But you'll get sauerbraten and rouladen at dinner.

The good news on Le Cellier is that within two weeks the new dinner menu will be out and reviews of the two credit dinner will be trickling in. The experience will have to improve somewhat for them to justify upping the credits required.

The only option for another signature is to ditch Le Cellier (can't dispappoint Mom and Biergarten) and head to Flying Fish, Yachtsman or one of the MK resort signatures. Since you already really enjoy Le Cellier, it seems that trying it out under its new set up is something you should do.

Minor side note. You may find that the Epcot After 4:00 Pass is really Epcot after 3:45.

CHESHIRE!! :yay: I was hoping you'd show up!! (Actually, I was hoping you'd show up on my other question, but it always a pleasure!!! :goodvibes

and thanks for the tip

I hear ya, and I was actually thinking JUST LIKE YA a while ago when I held a 7:50PM ADR for Narcoossee's  It was nice thought... My mom has a shellfish allergy so the menu for Flying Fish made her break out in hives , truth be told, I would have liked that one too. Thanks for the tip on Le Cellier's possible upgraded menu. I'll keep my eyes open. :surfweb:

Friday LUNCH- CAPTAIN's GRILLE 1:50PM Take bus to boardwalk, walk to Yacht Club (-3 TABLES)

Unless I am mistaken, there is no direct bus from any resort to BW. Without passes, your options inlcude driving, taxi or bus to the studios then walk/boat over to the YC

Have fun!

you're absolutely right! I overlooked that one... hmmm... must rethink.

Is it possible to take the bus to DHS then boat to YC??
