ADR at Crystal Palace Question

I started thinking....Our ADR for Crystal Palace at the MK is for 8:20am, but the park technicaly doesn't open until 9:00am...How am I expected to go through to the restaraunt for our breakfast?

Go to the right of the entrance to park and they have a CM who will check the reservation list and let you in to get to your breakfast.

My DD loved going to Crystal Palace for breakfast. We had an 8am reservation and it was like we were the only people on Main Street. I got a great picture of her with the castle in the background without the crowds.

We just debated this at our house, we had 8:20 reservations and changed them to the 9:10 ones instead, just because I was worried about getting in.

Check back and get the 8:20! You will get in. It's great to be able to walk down Main Street with so few other people also going to breakfast. And you are not eating at the expense of park time. Seriously, on nonEMH days, being at MK at park opening is great. You get to do so much in that first hour with no or little wait...especially the Fantasyland attractions.

Oh my goodness!! Call and switch it back if you can. There is NOTHING like walking into the Magic Kingdom with empty streets. It's like it was all put there for you and your family! This was the highlight of our entire trip. We also got some great pics in front of the castle without any strangers in the background.

We are going to try that during our 2008 trip! It sounds wonderful!

Ressies at CP before the park officially opens make for great photo ops! Just make sure that the ressie is NOT on a day MK has morning EMH!
