ADR at CRT and the Dining Plan

This is my first post! I have the deluxe dining plan and would like to try and get an ADR at Cinderella’s Royal Table at my 180 day mark. Can I make the reservation online and use my dining plan credits or do I still have to prepay and be reimbursed somehow?

It will charge your credit card and you will be reimbursed when you get to the restaurant and use your dining credits. Unfortunately there is no way to book CRT without putting a charge on your credit card.

But once you get there and tell them you're on the dining plan, the charge is refunded automatically so it's pretty simple.

We just did CRT in March on the DDP and I was NOT charged... My CC was "on file", but not charged.

Oh that's interesting! I know mine was definitely charged/credited when I booked last year.

That's how it has always been for us. We almost always do CRT, and have never been charged in advance when we have the deluxe plan.

Did you have the dining plan on your reservation at the time of booking? The system should recognize it and the ADR is held with dining credits and instead of being charged. That is how it is on the actual website. It has been this way for quite some time. Last time we booked CRT was in 2015 and our ADR was held with DDP credits.

I was on the dining plan but it was the QS dining plan so it probably recognized that I didn't have the credits to hold it and that's why. Good catch!

Yes! That is most likely why then.

We just booked CRT a few days ago as well and was not charged on our credit card, nor was charged in year's past.
