ADR at Chef Art Smith's Homecoming

We're at the 180 day mark and made a few ADRs but I was kind of surprised that there is no availability at Chef Art Smith's Homecoming. Is it really that good? What's the scoop?

My guess is the reservation slots aren't loaded yet. It is a great restaurant -- one of our favorite meals of our last trip. The appetizers are as good as the entrees, and the hummingbird cake is everything you expect and more!

They might not take reservations 180-days in advance. I selected some random dates and couldn't get anything to come up after December 11 (prior to that, there are lots of options). It would be interesting to see if tomorrow there are options for December 12th.

I hadn't considered that - thanks for the update. I'll check again tomorrow.

My family and I just had dinner there last Sunday, and I was able to get a reservation the week of. It was a great dinner with fabulous service! You won't be disappointed. And you will get in

Did you call or just try booking online? You need to call for ADRs for Chef Art Smith.

I have a Homecoming reservation for December 20. I made it online, but after my 180 date (that was in June)...I probably made it around a month or so ago. Mine is for 4:55, but I couldn't find anything later. Then, a week or so after I got it, they opened up times after 5pm.
Just keep checking online, or call and see if they can help you. Good luck!

This was my sons choice for ADR for his birthday celebration so I have had to adjust times and days as our plans changed. I feel like ADRs here might be a little funky. For example, at about 50 days out there were no lunch reservations showing available on the app so I had to call and was able to have pretty much my pick of times. I recommend calling but that is just based on my experience. Really looking forward to trying this place though!

I've called and tried booking online and there is nothing available for the entire week I'll be there (1/8-1/14) hoping for a cancellation! A California Grill reservation for 4 at 7p was easier to get than a reservation at Homecoming! I couldn't believe it!

I don't know for sure, but I suspect that Homecoming is like other of the third-party restaurants at DTD. They only give a small percentage of their tables to the Disney World dining reservation system. They leave tables available for walk-ups and for other reservation methods (although, I could not find Homecoming on OpenTable which is used by some of the other Disney Springs venues). You might also try calling the restaurant directly ((407) 560-0100) to see if they take reservations that way or inquire about walk-up availability.

My sister & I were unable to get an ADR. We did, however, walk up & were seated almost immediately. It was the best meal of our trip.

I am excited to hear the good reviews, I booked this for us on Dec. 16th.

You will not regret it. I love hummingbird cake anyway, and the piece there was the best I've ever had.

Called Disney Dining. Got the exact day and time I wanted, no problem.

Definitely try calling. As someone else reported, there was no availability and I called and was given a choice of times on an automated system.
You have to call Disney dining. If you call the restaurant directly, they will direct you to Disney dining.
