Ok... so first time Marathon Trip Prep is under way. DSis locked in our ADRs this week.

Now my family (DW, DS, and I) are typically summer visitors and I just started to compare ADRs versus park hours and such (what do you mean I can't stay at MK until 2am ? ), and discovered that our ADR at SciFi (no protestations from the peanut gallery, please) is at 7pm, on a night when the park closes at 7pm. Really ? While I think this might make for an interesting opportunity to leave a virtually abandoned park, has anyone ever done this ? :confused3

TIA

I've not had an ADR right at closing, but have had several within 30 to 15 minutes of closing (over at Epcot). After those meals, the park has been closed and it was quiet and peaceful as we walked out. It was a great time to unwind from the day and get some awesome nighttime pictures of the park!

Thanks for the feedback. DSis is calling back tomorrow, just to double check. We shall see. :)

It was years ago, but when we left after dinner at Sci-Fi the park was closed. It felt odd, like we were doing something wrong, but apparently they are fine with it.

The park doesn't close in a it 7pm everyone get out manner. the rides lines ae shut off. The rides run until the last people are off. The stores slowly close down with most big stores open until 8 on a night like that. The park won't let people in but they run the buses until everyone is out.

Oh, I get it. Just seemed peculiar. And rather wonderful, actually. :thumbsup2
