I was thinking this 90 +10 was great. Now I am getting so nervous! There are people already booking ADRs for the later days of my trip (6/20-27) What if my restaurants aren't avail when I call on Sunday?

Oh yikes I'm nervous. Last night I went through and filled in back-up plans for things JUST in case.

I feel the same way but I can't make ours until June so I have a ways to go.

In a way, I am kind of starting to hope we miss out on the free dining while we are there at the end of September, first part of October. Don't get me wrong, I'll take the free dining if it is offered, but we are already booked and budgeted without the free dining and I'd almost rather have better luck getting our ADR's that we really want (most importantly CRT) than the free dining. I know I may get both, but something tells me that if free dining comes along, we are going to miss out on some of the dining that we want.

Yup I feel anxiety as well. But I'm not going till Dec so I have a while to worry! So I'm staying at the Poly - so I can book 10days before non onsite people? Is it 90days from check IN or Check OUT? Is there a calculator somewhere on here to tell exactly what day to call?

Yikes and I need a backup plan, too????

I feel the same way! :scared: I also call on Sunday for a June 20th arrival date. I just think this board can be a mixed blessing. Yes, it's helped me very much in figuring out how to plan for our trip, but at the same time, I wouldn't have read everyone else's postings about how hard of a time they are having getting the ADRs they want. I'd be blissfully ignorant!

I'm with you! I was up at 4 AM this morning for our June 17-22 reservations - on hold for 40 minutes and then making reservations for another 40. *yawn*

A few of the things I'd wanted were not available - Chef Mickey's on June 18 (hoping to have my boys' birthday there), Sci-Fi on June 19 and Le Cellier on the 21st. All 3 were totally booked for all meals.

We didn't have to take any less-than-desireable times or anything (my little ones just cannot eat dinner at 9:40 PM) so I can't complain. I'll keep calling back to modify!

Good luck with yours!

I was a wreck the morning I made mine. I was thinking the exact same thing you were about people booking under the 90+10 rule. I made sure I had a plan...was up at 4:45am (2 hour time difference here), called right at 7am (5am my time). I also ranked my ADR's by what I thought might be more difficult to get and asked for those first.

I got to an agent at 7:02am and was immediately transferred where I waited on hold for 45 minutes. I really started to panic than. But once I got through I got all the ADR's I wanted including Crystal Palace 8:05 breakfast and Sci Fi (been reading there are problems getting these). However, I wasn't trying for any of the really hard to get places like Le Cellier or OHana, which may have helped me.

I had already made my Chef Mickey's and CRT ADR's when they were still at 180 days, so I can't give any advice about those two places.

I'm very nervous and I don't make my reservations until the end of May. I'll be very disappointed if I don't get a couple of the restaurants that I want. I liked it better when you make your reservations 180 days ahead--not as many people had their trips planned 6 month ahead.

I wouldn't worry too much.

Most comments about 90 days and availability have been favorable. The exceptions are those booking Chef Mickey up through June 19. The unavailablity there is due to the fact that Disney Dining had that in the computer up through June 19 since December. (CRT & V&A as well). I think we'll find those three easier to get once we're 90 days from June 20 and everyone is on the same ground. Sci-Fi seems to be a tough one for Star Wars weekend, but that should be it for Sci-Fi.

Another point to consider, and an unpopular one around here, is that dining reservations are just a teeny tiny portion of your trip. There are lots of restaurants to try. Maybe you're dying to get into someplace new that's been hyped, or even trying for an old favorite. If you miss that one, you may just find a new hidden gem that could be a new family favorite/tradition. :goodvibes

I was told that
It is 90 days for ANYONE whether you are onsight or not.
The 10 days allows you to BOOK your ADR for UP TO 10 days from your start date (for your trip) , not
START booking 10 days earlier like it USED to be.
Is this accurate?????:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

And with park hours at 90 days too, this makes it that much harder to plan on looking at hours, choosing where you want to be and then finding a restaurant same day in same park (or atleast near it)
I am OVERWHELMED this year like never before (it may also be because we are a grand gathering) :lmao:

It is 90 days from check in. At that time you may make reservations for up to 10 days of your trip.

I SO agree with you!!!!

No, I don't get anxious about my ADRs. I always have alternate plans ready. Also, a lot of posters have said recently that they got all or nearly all of their choices. I"M GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!!! I get excited, happy, thilled, etc. - not anxious.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I wouldn't worry too much. I didn't make my ADRs until 2 days after the 90 day window and got every one of them, including CRT.

I also just made a reservation this week for the Wishes cruise for May 16th.

Best of luck! :goodvibes

I feel the same way...I am making my ressies on Sun too for a group of six. I am sending some pixie dust your way so you get what you want!:wizard:

I'm anxious! I'm going the same time basically-we arrive the 22nd. I've never planned a WDW trip before so I backups for backups at this point.....

Im getting nervous about it too. I am there the exact same dates as the OP. I am most nervous about getting the Fantasmic package, as I have heard it is hard to get. DW and I have never bothered to stay for Fantasmic before. DN has never been to WDW before. We decided to do Fantasmic this time. :scared1:
I really think I will get the others I want, especially if I am a little flexible with my times.

You might want to get worried now. They offered bounceback last year for guests and free dining is at least through my visit 9/25-10/4.

Our 90 days is Sunday too! I have to leave the ADR's to my DH... Hopefully he doesnt let me down:scared:
