Hi all, just wondering if anyone can give me some input on what to tell when making advanced reservations for our trip in Sept (1-20 at POP). We are planning on going to Akershaus for breaky as well the one day as it's my dtr's 8th birthday while there. Could use some direction on our choices if anyone can help me out with the below choices;
-Sci fi dinner
-Akershaus (breaky day of dtrs bday then MNSSHP that night)
-Whispering Canyon
-Chef Mickey's (for breaky)
-Hoop de doo Revue ( can we stay at the lodge after and do the "fire and roasting marshmallows" that i read about on their site or here somewhere for like $3?)
....any other suggestions would be great! We are planning on eating sometime too at Rainforest Cafe as my friend and her dtr have never been there either.
Thanks!

We loved this and plan to go back for Dinner this trip.
-Hoop de doo Revue ( can we stay at the lodge after and do the "fire and roasting marshmallows" that i read about on their site or here somewhere for like $3?) There is no cost for this event. The $3 or so is for supplies if you want to make smores. The sing along and movie are free of charge. You'll have to book an early enough seating of HDDR in order to do both. I think that means the one at 5 or 5:30.

....any other suggestions would be great! We are planning on eating sometime too at Rainforest Cafe This Restaurant isn't part of the dining plan, so if you have the Dining Plan it will not cover any meal at the RFC. You will spend extra $ for this meal. as my friend and her dtr have never been there either.
Thanks!

Hope that was helpful.

thanks, that is ok..we are prob going to eat at Rainforest Cafe some appy's or something more for the "feel" of going for the kids. I love the restaurant, and don't mind spending some money on extra's. SO you think that "Akershaus" is ok for my dtrs' birthday breaky...didn't really know if I wanted to do the 2TS for Cinderella's Castle the menu wasn't quite all that I thought would be worth it. Akershaus sounds like more than one princess is there so in my thoughts is worth that.
thanks again

I have no experience with the Norway Princess Breakfast. However, if she wants a princess meal for her birthday It sounds like a great 1TS choice:

- Multiple princesses
- Photo pacakage included
- A nice meal

What a long trip! You'll be able to eat at so many excellant restaurants.

I really like breakfast at Akershus, and ate there for my birthday last year. I got a birthday cookie and a card signed by all the princesses.

OP, they allowed you to book a 19 day trip? Do you have the free dining for all 19 days? I thought we could only book for a total of 14 days. I am confused.

Onto your question however. Go look over the dining menus on allearsnet.com To get a better idea of where, you may want to eat. Some of my favorites, I cannot miss are.

Ohana'
Wolfgang Pucks Cafe

I had the free ddp last september for a 21 day holiday.

I think the British are allowed to book longer than 14 days - I don't know where the OP is from though.

choices look good, but would suggest you book your ADR's now! From postings on other threads, sounds like quite a few of the popular meals (including character meals) are booked up already, or have nothing but very unpopular times left...Good Luck:)

I have done the princess storybook breakfast several times and really enjoy it - I can't imagine a young girl not loving it.

Make your reservations NOW for the ones you are even pretty sure about. Most may already be booked so you may have to do some changing around.

sorry ALL...didn't realize that the "4" didn't go behind the one when I was typing my post last night....we are there from the 14th to the 20th SORRRY!

thanks for your response! I will def book now, but a little confused how they take reservations someone said they bill your credit card, but how when it's free dining is there a code to use for cdn residents or anyone?

A (very) few restaurants, the Fantasmic dinner package at DHS and Cinderella's Royal Table for example, will take a credit card # to hold the reservation. If you DON'T show up, they will charge your CC $10 per person. This does not apply to most reservations. Basically, you call and they give you the available times for a party of your size at the restaurant you're looking for. Tell them which time slot you want and they will give you a confirmation #. Be sure to write these down and take them with you when you go in case there is a question or you want to make changes later. Call now!! The good stuff is going fast because of Free Dining.
