We are staying at a Disney Resort and making ADRs for the first time this fall. I have read that when you call 180 days from the day you first want an ADR that you can book for +10 more days without calling back each day. Right now we check in on Tuesday night and I plan to make my first reservation for Wednesday. There is a chance, though, that we leave a day later and then our first ADR will be Thursday. We won't know until a month or two in advance so I am planning for the extra day.
So, if I make an ADR 180 days out from our first full day plus some more up to 10 days later, and then we end up arriving a day later, will there be a problem with all of our ADRs? I am concerned about having to cancel our first day's ADR when our other ADRs were made based on 180 days from the first ADR we had to cancel.
I hope that all makes sense! Also, for ADRs where you do not pay anything in advance can you cancel without penalty?
