We're once again a bi-platform house (DH needed a Mac to do iOS stuff at home) and so I now have a 27" iMac to compliment my Windows 7 laptop. I didn't have the $$$$ to spend for all the Adobe software we use so we got a subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud.
What you get... everything CS 6 (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, ETC..) as well as Lightroom 4 and a few others. These are full versions installed on your computer that will work as long as you have a subscription. When upgrades come out you do not have to purchase them, they are included with your cloud subscription. You can install the software on as many computers as you want, the catch is you have to sign in to use it and can only be signed in on one at a time.
$49.99 a month, $29.99 for students. They also have a special right now for CS owners. It's a good deal if you use multiple apps from Adobe like we do but might not be so great for someone who just wants Photoshop.
