I just wrapped my re-gift! Dhs job gives leftover premiums as chirstmas gifts for its employees. Dh was given a surround sound for an x-box. We don't have an x-box so we wrapped it up and are giving it to someone we know has an x-box!

I received about 35 gifts from the seniors at the community I work for. I have to admit I passed two gifts (fragrance gifts I cannot use) to others....

I have no problem re-gifting. My ds received this flying helecoptor toy for his birthday and we are re gifting it to one of my cousins. DS already has one and I know my little cousin would love it

My DD being a dance teacher, she always receives a ton of candles, assorted scents, shapes and colors. I always like to burn candles, but the ugly ones I usually reserve for power failures. Let's face it, "any light in a storm" like they say!!!!

Sorta...ok, yes, I guess. I got a $10 Mcdonald's gift card at work yesterday. Since DD13 LOVES Mickey D's, I'm going to put it in her stocking. My mom gave me a $10 Toys R Us gift card that she got when she bought X amount of stuff, so I'm putting that one in DD11's stocking.

The few gifts I have received have been fine. I don't regift a hidious gift (except for a joke), but a duplicate of something I have and love; yes. The Xbox above is a great example, the gift is new, something that you cannot use, something another would love and a gift you could see yourself buying.

I'm regifting something my daughter gave me for Christmas last year, and I'm giving it...back to her!!!!!

I wanted a digital camera printer last year. DD17 got it for me, but I didn't realize it wasn't compatible with my camera. By the time I went to shop for the camera that WOULD work with it, the technology had moved so far ahead that both the camera and the printer were obsolete (almost!!) I finally found a camera at Best Buy, so I'm giving DD a new digital camera and the same printer she tried to give me next year. I thought she might like to take pictures and print them for her friends when she goes to college next year!!!!

I can't say that I have ever re-gifted, although I have re-used the gift bags. But I did have a patient come into my office recently, she was bringing in this board game with her and trying to sell it to me. It was for a friend of hers that was selling them. I told her thank-you but that I had no one that to buy for that it was appropriate for. She then proceeded to tell me that it was a good idea to buy them (for a good cause....her friend I guess) for people that I knew wouldn't need them with the idea that they could regift them. How odd, or at least I think so. From what I understand this is what she was doing also.

Just partially...for my birthday a co-worker gave me a gift basket of raspberry lemonade lotions/soaps, etc. that she made. I am using the lotions, but really didn't know what I was going to do with the basket and a few other items (washcloth, small wooden hairbrush, small wooden massager, etc.) but then I got a few warm vanilla sugar items from Bath & Body Works for my granddaughter, and decided to put those in the basket and re-gift the basket for Christmas. So, does that really count?

I regifted a macrame' snowman ornament. My sister collects snowman in any shape or form, so I put it with her present. I also put a candle in one of our $10 exchange with the present I bought, the Christmas Toffee was only $7.50. My side of the family has a $10 gift exchange-none of my kids have the money so I had to do all 6.

I would like to say, I never heard of regifting till I read it here last year.

Habitual re-gifter here! I see no problem in giving an unused item to someone else who would enjoy or get more use out of an item than I would.

Couple gifts from this year (and last) are going out in gift baskets this year

I have re-gifted and I have gotten gifts that have been re-gifted to me and I think I have actually regifted the regifted gift!!!!

If it is something that is not my taste or would never use and I need a gift for someone then yes I will re-gift.

a few years ago at work we all brought in a wraped gift and then we could take any gift we wanted. So I took this pretty big box thinking it would be a really great gift. I opened it and it was a PIG cookie jar!! I HATED it so I wrapped it for my sister for Christmas!! Ha HA
