Actually, I fall more on the side of, if the kid is a day or two past their 3rd birthday, then it wouldn't bother me a bit to pass them off as 2. With all the bad stuff happening in the Real World, I can't really muster the indignation to get my knickers in a bundle over that.

But by all accounts, the child's birthday was in May, so she's really almost 3 and a half...

YOU WILL GET FLAMED FOR SUCH A QUESTION! :rotfl2:

Anyway, for all of you less than perfect parents....

No "Look what you are teaching your children" or "what type of example are you for your kids" types invited..you're too perfect for us flawed parents! :lmao:

I don't know, Tiffer...even some of the non-perfect parents might have an issue with this one... :rotfl: Everyone has SOMETHING that irritates them. :stir: And most are smart enough to know a troll when they see one.

;) I don't mind the trolling. Good entertianment to see such perfect people get their panties in a bunch! Ya think WDW doesn't factor this into the overall cost?

I don't advocate rule breaking, but I'm certainly not going to get all reved up over such insignificant things.

OP, I hope you find a way to afford the ticket. Seriously, if you cheat the system to save $100 (which is not much of the total trip cost), you might find a bit less enjoyment in the trip itself. I sincerely wish you the best of luck -- maybe a quick weekend garage sale, a handful of listings on Ebay, a basket of clothes to the local consignment shop, or something. That way, you won't have to worry as you approach the front gate. Those gate CMs were quite friendly, and got my dd talking (it was on her actual third birthday, several days into our trip so she was still free). Oh, and they conversed with my other kids also, and DID sneak in questions about "Little Sister" and her birthday.

I know that many people have gotten older kids in for free with no hassle...but the risk of being caught out and embarassed isn't worth it. You'll relax more, thus enjoying your trip more, without that added worry. Good luck and have a great trip.
