Two questions -

Children under three get into the parks for free right?

Do you have to provide anything evidencing that your child is under three? Need to be able to tell my sister what to bring in case you do.

Thanks!

Yes, they're free and no you don't need evidence. It seems to go by an honor system.

Just a warning that people have been asked for proof of their childs age. I don't know how common it is and we never had any trouble with our 2 yr old, but it has been mentioned here.
To be safe, bring a photocopy of the birth certificate if the child is old enough that someone might think they are 3.

My son is big for his age and we have been asked on a few occasions, and they always took our word, they might not have believed me a few times but I never had a problem. My cousin who is even tall and larger and at the age of 2 looked 5 was never questioned. They always carried his birth certificate, because of his size. I really think it depends on the cast memeber.

We were never asked last fall and my DS (2.5 at the time) is very tall and speaks very well. But I would bring a copy of the birth certificate for peace of mind.
