Admiral's Floor at NPB Hotel

I've looked at the Hotel sticky and done a search but I can't seem to find any info on the location of the AF. I just wondered if it was in a central area or on a particular floor of the hotel, as the last time we stayed here we were in a standard room that took about 10 mins to get to from the lobby!
Also are these rooms non-smoking or do I need to request one?
Finally, are there any other requests I should make or tips you can give me please?

Floor 7 is an Admiral's floor.

We were just around the corner from the lifts, the whole floor is non-smoking.

When we stayed on the Admiral's Floor we were on the 5th floor and I seem to remember the lift showing floors 5 to 7 as being the Admiral's Floors. But we were still in the main/central section of the hotel, just around the corner from the lift.

Thanks Caroline! I've just read elsewhere that, as you say, 3 floors are dedicated to AF.

I don't think from what I've read that any of the Admirals Floor rooms go very far down into the wings of the hotel, I've never heard anyone complain about the long walk as they do with standard rooms.
