Does the LAMB mean something special? My Mom always made a rabbit (coconut for fur). Last year I made one for the memories. But I've never heard of a lamb.

Yes, Esther LOVED going to the cabin. She would dive off the end of the dock and catch frisbees, balls, you name it. It was hard to get her out of the water.

Her sister meanwhile, is more of the lounge on the deck sort of a dog. She also doesn’t like to walk in the grass when it’s muddy.

One time Sophie absolutely refused to go outside to go to the bathroom because the ground was wet from rain so my sister and I had to carry her outside....she weighs 115 pounds LOL. She hates getting a bath too.

To avoid any kerfuffles on religious type discussions .... I'll go with this explanation as it fits my "origin" story ...
No dessert clearly defines Midwestern holiday traditions quite like the Easter Lamb Cake. While the origins of these kitschy cake creations remain a mystery, herds most notably began forming around the 1950's and soon these little lambs became an Easter staple in many midwestern German and Polish households.

Why would that woman feel she needed to comment on your leg? People are so weird sometimes! Yeah, I wear a compression sleeve most days but sometimes I just need a break from it. Luckily, we had really gorgeous weather on our Jan/Feb trip this year so my sleeve didn't contribute to overheating. I think we will choose that time of year to visit whenever possible. It was fabulous for weather, crowds, and FotArts.

Granted, my leg is not pretty now but still. I was stunned, but luckily my best friend promptly told her she should mind her own business.

Ok not to go allll the way back to this topic but I am also hoarding points for international biz/first! HOWEVER, sometimes you can get really good domestic redemptions on American Airlines when you book via British Airways, so if I see one of those I might snag it. (Especially if it's on a 777 or 787 with lie-flat biz on a domestic route!!)

I lurk on Flyertalk sometimes and they have some very active RTW threads, I think a lot of people use ANA to do it. I would love to try ANA one way and JAL the other for a Japan trip, in biz or... even better... first

OMG...are you an aviation geek?! (in every great way!!) Ever since I started the whole points thing (I read TPG religiously btw!), I have been obsessed with finding out what planes have what seats, what the seat/pod/suite look like, their configuration, routes, menus, etc. If I want to try very specific seats in biz/first class, I would even book transitioning flights instead of direct, as long as the redemption is worth it.
DH has flown ANA biz class (not The Room though) and he loved it! He said service, comfort and quality of food were all top notch. I have never flown JAL but from what I've read/seen in videos so far, their biz class is underrated and people disregard them a lot especially when they compared it to ANA. But I would love to try JAL for that reason, redemption is lower and probably easier to snatch!

Our cat is named Tesla, after Nikola. However, as it turns out when he purrs you can barely hear it, even though you can feel it. And he's a downright [insert your favorite word that would not pass the DIS filter here]. So it's perfect for him, no matter how you associate Tesla.

Very interesting you would say that as there are several other traditions - where as a kid I had a similar aversion - mostly related to having food blessed at Easter including the little lamb butter, eggs, kielbasa, bread and other "staples" of a Polish household. So when grandma would return home with the blessed foods, I was afraid to eat them

Did you see the pez outlaw one on Netflix? That was a crazy interesting one. I too love documentaries and what my husband refers to as murder shows after the SNL skit.

Yes!!!!! That was fascinating!!!! I really enjoyed it. DW is into anything violent and murderous - makes me worried my days are numbered!

I am like, a baby AvGeek and also read TPG! When I fly I like to look at the variety of planes in the different gates, the 777s and Dreamliners make even a 737 look so small!!! I get excited when I see the classic 747 bubble too, especially now that they are officially retired.

I'm actually helping my mom and her hubs use their points to go biz class to London next year. There's definite overlap in my Disney planning hobby and my travel hacking hobby, although it is definitely not as involved or advanced as some!

And yes, that is exactly why I want to try one carrier one way and the other on the way back, from everything I've read they're comparable and both superior to an American carrier. Plus the lounges in Tokyo!

There is a big Irish Tradition as well - my wife is Irish - there are molds that go all the way back to the 1700s in France as well ...

Our boys were Potter and Weasley. Guess which one was orange and white, and which one was a black/grey/white tiger with stripes on his forehead? DD named them when she was 7... and she's about to turn 30! We lost Potty when he was 17 and the Wease when he was 20. Since then we've had Mia HAMMster (rip, she was a sweet rodent) and our newest hamster, courtesy of Santa, named Jingle.

FTR... I've read the first 14 pages and the last 10, so here goes:

Let us know what you think. My DH rode during deluxe extra hours Wednesday night. He thought it was OK, he said the leaning on turns hurt his side quite a bit. We both got boarding passes, even tho I never do coasters. He’ll usually ride a second time with my MB. He said once was enough for Tron tho.

I did the “chariot seat” back to back last week, and then rode the regular bike right after. I gotta tell you, my groin was a little sore after riding the bike. I don’t know if I sat on it funny, but it hurt a little. I had a back operation 15+ years ago so it flares up occasionally. But that one got me.

I thought the ride was pretty good. And yes, it’s over way to quick. I thought it was a better experience for me in the chariot to be able to focus on the theming, but that lacks some intensity.

I’ll try the bike again and maybe sit up more.

We just had an interesting run in with a fellow MK guest who got up in my husband’s face about getting too close to him while walking by. he was cursing and calling him names and insulted his cargo shorts . The dude was clearly hangry and the lady with him was yelling at him too to cut it out. I said to him this is not how people act at a family theme park and we all walked away. He proceeded to still yell at us as we walked away. All I was thinking was I don’t want to be featured on the Disney blogs for fighting in the parks.

I’m sorry that happened. Like others have said, I hope he reflects on his behavior, and I hope it didn’t dampen your day. Some people…
