Does anyone know if any of the studios at any DVC have adjoining rooms?
I can get a two bedroom, but with 2 different small families on different time tables, we were thinking 2 studios may work out better for us in this situation.
I'd prefer SSR, but am willing to try any of them if they have adjoining?
thanks!

There are No adjoining or connecting studios in any of the DVC resorts. You can get a studio that is connected to a 1BR, and that would be called a "2BR lock-off". Another alternative is simply to get the two studios and request that they be near each other.

I'd recommend the 2BR if you want any together time; plus you'd have the full kitchen and in-unit laundry available to both families. Either that or get the two studios and arrnage to meet for a few combined meals a few times.

Good luck!

I too think the best deal is for a 2 bedroom lock-off so you will have a full kitchen and laundry in the room. Each unit will still have their own entrance to the outside as well.

Thank you both for your response. I will check on the 2bedroom lockoff when I call for ressies..
have a great day!

your originally request with 2 families would (in my opinion) be the best.

You get your space and they get their.

BWV has some studios (dedicated) next to each other. Even OKW has some studios next to each other (not connecting or adjoining) - these are lock off and are connected to a 1-bedroom.

OKW will generally try for the same building. BWV definites close to - strange - not on the same floor - but on in the same area you are but on another floor?

Remember that at the WDW resorts "adjoining" doesn't mean what it means at many other hotels. It only means "next door." What you're looking for is "connecting" rooms. At the regular WDW resorts the reservations desks will record this as a preference but not guarantee it. At DVC resorts, as explained above, it's only available in the 2-bedroom lockoff arrangement.

Spicey, where are the studios next to each other at OKW? I always thought they would be on opposite ends of the same building or on a different floor. I can't think of any studios next to each other at OKW.

I have stayed in the ones in 18 and 35 - or I won't have know either.

oh both cases the neighbors left their drapes and shutters open. It was obvious.

Doc has such usefully information.

That's interesting, Spicey. I guess I have never stayed in those buildings.
