Adjoining rooms - noisy???

For those of you who have had cabins with adjoining doors, are they noisy?? Do you hear a lot through the adjoining doors??

We were in 8532 and I know there was a family in 8534 because I saw them on their balcony but the only times I heard them were when we were both on the balcony and the day we were disembarking- their litle girl was crying because she didn't want to leave.

We were in an adjoining SPR and definitely heard lots of noise! It might have been worse for us because we are a childless couple, so we tend to be quiet. The SPRs sleep four, which typically means at least two kids. These particular children liked to slam each other into the adjoining door for amusement.

We had adjoining rooms last summer and didn't have a problem with the noise at all. We have them again for next summer.
