Adjoining Rooms at POR?

We are thinking of staying at POR Ab section. My in-laws will be with us but we want seperate rooms. We have never stayed at this hotel and I was wondering if they had connecting rooms? Thank you!

I believe all Disney Resorts have some connecting rooms, but they will never guarantee them. Ask for them when you make your reservation and when sending a room request fax just before you go and you will increase your chances of getting connecting rooms.

We stayed at POR July 2003 with my brother n law and his family. We had adjoining rooms and each room had a trundle. We were in the alligator bayou section. It was Great!

Had adjoining rooms on Mansion side. We were even two families with different reservations, but both had requested it.

Just a caution about wording.
Adjoining rooms just are rooms that are next to each other. They may be right next to each other or they may be the next room number, but are across the hall from each other or separted by something like a Housekeeping closet, the ice machine room, etc.
Connecting rooms are adjoining rooms that also have a door inside the room that can be opened so you can go from room to room without going into the hallway.

I've seen a lot of posts where people were disappointed that they requested "adjoining rooms" and got rooms that were next to each other instead of ones with a door between. They got exactly what they requested, but not what they expected.

We had connecting rooms last spring. They must have ready my mind as I am sure I screwed up and asked for "adjoining!" It's great having an extra potty if Daddy is in the bathroom too long! We'd go use Grammy's.

We were traveling with another family in '01 and stayed at POR. We originally asked for adjoining rooms but thanks to these boards realized I had asked for the wrong thing!! So, called back and asked for connecting rooms. I had the request noted on both families reservation. Since we booked separately and paid for our own trip, that was the only way we could do it. But, we ended up with terrific connecting rooms.
