Adequate kitchen supplies?

How are supplies of things like dish towels, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, sponges, etc? In other words, what's good to bring along because what they have is likely to be inadequate?

I guess it depends on you and how fast you use things up. We have never had and problems and If we run out of something, we ask Mousekeeping for more. Plus they restock every four days.

In June, we stayed at OKW, and we received 1 packet of dishwashing detergent. I asked for more, but mousekeeping gave me one more packet. (Of course I asked again, and I got some more.)

We do plan to cook a lot--this is our first trip with a kitchen and will be largely devoted to hanging around OKW. Sounds like a bit of dish soap and dish towels are in order. We've already packed extra laundry detergent.

You won't need dish soap or dishwasher detergent. Usually at OKW you get a small box of Cascade and a small bottle of Palmolive. If you need more, just ask Housekeeping.

The days of Cascade are over, this summer stayed at OKV & BWV and the box is gone. They have replaced the nice sized box for individual packets of a no name brand dishwashing detergent. They give you 3 or 4, then I guess you have to ask for more or they gice you more on trash/towel day,

Take salt and pepper. A small non-stick pan for eggs is handy to have. Coffee filters and coffee. I use a bathroom hand towel for an extra kitchen towel, if needed. Should be adequate paper towels and a scrubber sponge, and liquid detergent (can be handy to have a little extra dishwasher detergent with you -- and an extra roll of toilet paper).

If you ever need more toilet paper, just call Housekeeping. No need to bring your own. Trash bags will be in the bottom of the trash cans.

The only thing they won't replenish if you need them are towels, shampoo, shower gel, soap, minimal coffee supplies (prefiltered coffee packs, prepackaged sugar, sweetener, stirrers, etc). Those are replenished every four days if you stay on points or a DVC Cash reservation.

They do not provide any salt, pepper, coffee filters.

One prefiltered pouch of coffee. If you are staying on DVC points, you'll get another in four days. If you pay cash through Disney Reservations Center, you get another every day.

I also find it handy to bring a roll each of foil and plastic wrap. They do not provide any of that and it comes in very handy for baking, microwaving and storing leftovers.
