I have been getting mixed views on etiquette websites... Do I put Ms. xxx or Miss xxx for women who are over 18, never been married??

Ms. is okay to do in any situation so that's what I am doing for anyone over 18 that isn't married.

I used Miss for specific women over eighteen only. If there was even a question of whether or not to call her Miss, I used Ms.

I used Ms. for anyone over 16 and Miss. for anyone younger. I just know t hat when I was 16 I hated being called Miss. and preferred Ms. :thumbsup2 Hope that helps!

I'm pretty sure I used Miss for all single, never-been-married women...

I don't know what the proper etiquette is but I think Ms. is appropriate for anyone.

I actually can't stand being referred to as Miss or Mrs. for that matter.
