Address to praise two CMs?

Does anyone have an address to write to Disney to praise two of their CMs? We had a fantastic experience with the Walt Disney merchandising department and I really want to let Disney know what a great job they did.

My youngest daughter is getting married next weekend and back in April, she rode down to the Fort with us for a short trip. While we were there, she purchased the bride and groom Mickey ears and then took them to the Christmas Shop to have "Just Married" and their names painted on the ears. The plan was that they would wear the ears when they are announced as Mr. & Mrs. at the reception (they both LOVE Disney). About two weeks ago, Emily realized that she couldn't find the ears. We both searched the house from top to bottom and finally realized that they must have accidentally been thrown away (the box weighed next to nothing). She called Disney but was told that they couldn't do a personalized special order. She was so upset.

My oldest daughter has in-laws in Cocoa Beach, so she called down there to see if someone could drive over and get the ears for Emily. She was told yes, but then days went by and no one went to get them. We started to get a little nervous, and then DH decided that we would drive down to WDW this weekend and get a new pair. He didn't want to take the MH for such a short trip, so not only were we going to have to drive 7 hours each way, we were going to have to get a room and eat...making these some very expensive Mickey ears!!! I really didn't want to do this because I have a ton of stuff to get done before the wedding.

I finally decided to call Disney Merchandising myself and see if I could get anyone to do it. I got a wonderful CM on the phone and he said he'd contact the Christmas Shop for me, and then we got disconnected! Over the course of about 30 minutes, we tried to get each other back on the phone, but there were some weird phone issues going on and the calls kept dropping. We finally connected again, and he got all of the information and said he'd call me back. I didn't hear anything that day (Wednesday), but the next morning he called and told me that someone from the Christmas Shop would be calling me and that they would be able to make the ears!!! I was so excited! Within a few minutes, the lady from the Christmas Shop called and got all of the info again. Minutes later, she called back because she realized that if we bought the ears in April, they might be a different style than what they have now...and they were (Emily had bought the top hat ears for Jonathan and they didn't have those anymore). She said she'd try to find the ones that Emily wanted. It wasn't long, and we got another call from her saying that she had found the ears! Bright and early Friday morning, my dog started barking like crazy. I looked out the window and there was FedEx was delivering the ears to my house! We were so excited! And they look great!

Emily and Jonathan won't get to go on a honeymoon right away because he is in the Navy, but he was able to get leave in mid-July. I'm sure you can guess where they are going...Disney World, of course! I'm sure they will be wearing their ears!

I just feel that the two CMs went above and beyond what they had to do, and I want management to know what a great job their doing. So (to make a long story short), does anyone have an address that I can write to?

That's a great ending to your story and I understand why you would want the CMs to get credit, but with all due respect, I expect them to do what they did. CMs going above and beyond at WDW has a different meaning than at a lot of other companies. Disney expects them to do so, and it's considered the norm to go above and beyond. They're told over, and over, and over again, in so many ways that if the opportunity presents itself, do whatever it takes. I know, they're are those that don't, but I like to think that most CMs do try to "make the magic". So if you're able to let WDW know, great, if not, it's no big deal, we're just doing our jobs.
 
oh man.... we have those ears, too. i would of been upset if i lost mine, too. glad you were able to get them replaced. even lynn wore her ears at our wedding. lol

i can't wait to see pictures, holly. nothing like a disney wedding (w/o the expensive of being at disney).

The reason I think they went above and beyond is because when my daughter called, she was told that they couldn't do it. The CM I spoke to was willing to help, plus the woman who was going to paint the ears called to make sure that she was using the right ears. I really appreciate what they did and feel like Disney probably hears more complaints than compliments. I think that good work deserves to be acknowledged.

4mickey2 - Cheryl, I'll be sure to send you pictures! BTW - I love the pictures you sent me. Emily and Jonathan will have a Mickey and Minnie cake topper too. They are using the Jim Shore one on their cake. We also got them the toasting glasses from Arribas Brothers with Mickey and Minnie on them. Jonathan was never a big Disney fan until he met Emily, but now he just loves it!
