Anyone know how to find SSR location for programming into a TOMTOM 910 sat nav?

Not sure but the address is = 1960 Broadway Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

I am currently compiling a few POI's for my 910 based in Orlando (Disney Hotels, Eating Places etc) ready for my trip in 3 weeks :dance3:

I will PM you, when I have finished them in a few days:thumbsup2

Did you buy the map through the TomTom website?
I just bought a TomTom 510 and was thinking about taking it to Orlando, although I think I can find my way round pretty easily now. I guess it depends on the cost of the map.

The 910 has the US maps pre-installed.

DISWolves - How do you add points of interest? Sorry for the dumb question. I find the "quick start guide" absolutely useless. My car back in England had a satnav built in, but now I am using a TomTom 910 and I have had more than a few issues with it to say the least, especially when I plug it into the computer....it doesn't like that at all! :sad2:

disney has some of the best signed roads, then again there are that may differant routes you can take

You do not really require the 910 connected to a computer using the TomTom Home software, but it can help when transferring a location that you have found using say MultiMap.
To create POI's onto the 910 direct,
Main Menu - Change Preferences (go to next page) - Manage POI's - Add POI Category (you can name this to suit a specific group e.g. Disney Hotels, Petrol Stations, Walmart, Shopping Centres etc what ever you want) You are then given the choice of Icon to represent this category. Select Done

Now you need to ADD POI's into the category that you have just created.
Main Menu - Change Preferences (go to next page) - Manage POI's - Add POI.
You now need to select your newly created POI CATEGORY from a scrolling list, when this is selected you will transfer to the ADD AS POI screen, where you can locate your POI (hotel, petrol station, or whatever, by entering its postal address or post/zip code or actually selecting the location on the map (This is when I sometimes use Multimap to find the location and then select the same location on the TomTom map. TomTom by default will name your chosen point as its building number & road name, but you can rename this to whater you want e.g Ponderosa North I-Drive.
Just repeat the ADD POI's sequence for any other Ponderosas in the area and save with a different name e.g Ponderosa South I-Drive. You also have the option to enter the phone number of the POI's that you create. This can be useful if using a bluetooth phone, as you can dial the location by selecting from the main menu - MOBILE PHONE - CALL - POINT OF INTEREST, then select the relevent POI. Remember also that you can choose a computer voice to announce your indivual POI's as you approch them
Hope this helps :thumbsup2

That is extremely helpful! Thank you. I think I must be missing a user guide. I only got the "quick start guide" - should I have got something else too? I have no information on any of this great stuff, I am realising that I have only just scratched the surface! :confused3

I have the 910 too, and i was messing around with it and i think the disney institue is where SSR is (fingers crossed i have this one right)

I love looking and finding my favourite places. :thumbsup2
