address for AKL- letter for a guest

I'd like to send a card to a guest that will be staying at the AKL. What/how do I address it? What is the address of the AKL?

The post office does not recognize Disney roads (since it is private property) so if you are mailing a letter through the regular mail you would send it through the Disney PO Box...Which takes a little longer to arrive (so give it enough time)

For regular US Mail you would send it to:
The guest name / Resort guest
C/O Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Front desk
PO Box 10,000
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

If you want to use Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, etc you can send it direct to the hotel at:

The Guest name/ Resort guest

Bay Lake, FL 32830

If I want to send a package of things down ahead of time for our trip and use UPS how far ahead of time should I send it and what address? Also what should I write on the outside of the box? And will they hold it for me until we get there?

UPS and FedEx deliver directly to the hotel. If you are staying at AKL you can use the main address:

The Guest name/ Resort guest
Check in date
C/O Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Front Desk

Bay Lake, FL 32830

As far as when to send it, it depend on the time of year, if you are going for Christmas plan ahead because the delivery services are backed up, if you are going during a slow time, a few days to a week is ok... The front desk will hold the pacakge until your arrival, just makes sure you put the check in date on it.
