Hello. Quick question. I'm currently thinking of adding on a small contract (25pts VGC). I currently own 163pts SSR. I want to know if I can combine points from both contracts for one of the nights in my reservation. For example, lets say I'm only staying two nights at VGC and its 13pts/night for a total of 26pts. Can I use one point from my SSR contract to supplement the second night? FYI, I understand the 7/11 month window on both contracts so assume I'll be in the 7month window. My concern is I'll always have wasted points at VGC if I can't use both contracts for a nights stay.

If you are at 7 months you can use any combination of points to make a reservation

You need to have the same UY and title on the contracts to have both contracts available to pull from under one membership.

They have to be under one master contract and the requirements Bill gave are those generally required to have them listed together. IF you do a retail add on of 25 pts, they will be so you don't have to worry about that, Disney won't sell you 25 points that's a different UY or title. You can combine them for single nights at any resort 7 months out or later.

If they have different use years, they are separate contracts, and you can't combine them for a single night. You cn still use them for the same vacation, but you have to separate by whole nights, like 3 nights with one contract, and 1 night with the other.

I don't know where you got the 13 points/night for a VGC studio. The lowest season is 17/night. Your proposed 25 point add on would get you one night.

I also live in AZ. We have owned OKW since 1993 but when we moved to AZ we decided we needed the 11 month advantage at VGC since most of our trips are now at DLR. We sold our Aulani add on and bought VGC instead.

Now I use the VGC points for trips where the 11 months booking priority is warranted (like for special events or holiday times) and our OKW points for "lucky" trips within the 7 months where we can find a few nights at VGC.

You might want to reconsider such a small number of VGC points if you plan on going there frequently.

Thanks everyone. Figured it out with your help and was all confirmed by my guide. Brian, I'm aware of the point charts. The 13pt/night was only an example. FYI, We've never had problems booking at VGC with our SSR points but that's another discussion.
