Additional Meal for a child with Virgin

[A whole new world]

In October i'll be taken a 2 year old to Disney with Virgin. She'll be on our laps, so she doesn't get a meal included. Will i be able to order her a kids meal with Virgin and pay extra? If so do you know how much they are and if it's a case of just ringing up?

If she is 2, doesn't she have to have a seat? I thought Virgin's policy was only children under 2 didn't have to have their own seat

As for the meal question, why don't you just Email them and ask? Or buy something at the airport to take on board for her?

At 2 she needs a seat so will get a meal.

I had a baby meals of jars for DD when she was a lap infant. She had a seat from 15 months as 9 hours is a long time to have something on your lap!

Yep - I've just booked my flights to include a 2 year old and there wasn't an option to have them on your lap (not that I'd want to have a 2 year old on my lap for 8 hours!). This does mean they also get a 23kg suitcase as well in case you spot any bargains whilst you are out there :

I booked my flights last June i thought she would be on my lap, if she gets a meal and a seat thats brilliant - you've just made my day It wasn't clear on our confirmation. Might be worth me ringing and checking. Thanks

If she is over two on return she would get a seat and meal

If under two on return you can request a ababy meal which js jars but we didnt get them at all on our last flights and we requested them
