additional driver with alamo car

We are quick silver members with Alamo. I used our bjs code to get us an addditional driver. I was looking at the "save time" on our confirmation and it says you can add addtional driver info. on the site. What I was wondering is..

Can I add an additional driver now, even though the additional driver isn't arriving until 3 days after we pick up the car?

I suppose you could add it now, however they do ask to see all the drivers licences when you leave the garage. You can ask at the counter in the terminal if there isn't to long of a line, or there is a counter at the garage which usually isn't as crowded, or the attendant when leaving the garage. I'm sure they are probably just checking that the additional driver is over 25.

thanks... reason I'm asking is..

We are staying Sept. 20-23rd. Are friends are staying Sept. 23-27. If we rent a car for our trip 20-23rd the rate is $155. If we rent a car for 20-27th the rate drops to $114. so I figured it would be less money for us, and give our friends a car to use too.
