Adding waterparks and more or Keys to the Kingdom tour?

My DH and I are traveling to Disney next month for our anniversary. We have both been to WDW many times and this trip is more about relaxation rather than open to close touring (which is our usual style). We just have the basic tickets. We'd like to do something fun that we don't usually do. We haven't been to the waterparks in over 10 years and we've never done the keys to the kingdom tour. What would your preference be? Or, do you have any other suggestions?

I would do the Keys to the Kingdom Tour, and actually think we are going to do it when we go this September. It is the first time we are going with just the 2 of us and it seems like a unique experience. Neither of us are fans of water parks though, so it is an easy decision for me.

No question, the water parks would definitely be our choice - with or without kids. Disney water parks are the best in Florida. You will find plenty of shade spots if you wish, and places away from the crowds to just relax, enjoy drinks, and the great music. And their lazy river pools are long and interesting. And when you get bored of laying around, you can do a few water slides, snorkel to see some tropical fish, or ride the chair lift.

I really enjoyed the Keys to the Kingdom tour, but I wouldn't call it relaxing. I'd do the water parks if you are going for relaxation. We spent over an hour in the Typhoon Lagoon lazy river one day last year... did a few slides, snorkeled, and went back in the lazy river. It was a great day.

I have debated the keys to the kingdom tour a few times but even as an adult I'm not sure if I want the "magic" spoiled
