My parents JUST decided they will be joining us in about 3 weeks to WDW. How difficut will it be to try to add them to our existing PS. Chef Mickey's and CRT??? CRT is the one I am the most concerned about even though I only need to add my mom to that one. Any pros with info or advise are greatly appreciated!

Thoughts and prayers to those in the path of Jeanne!

Don't worry I won't try to call this weekend!

In my experience of trying to add or remove the # of people on a PS, I'd say it depends on whether it will change the table size. For example if you're currently a party of 4 and you want to change to 5 or 6, you probably won't be able to do it because that would be different sized table. If you were changing from 4 to 3, you'd probably be OK. When I tried to change CRT from 6 to 4 last year, they just had to check to see if a table for 4 was available, and it wasn't so I had to completely cancel our table for 4. I did keep calling back every day, and eventually was able to rebook for 4.

So, it depends! Call to ask, and if you don't like the first answer, go ahead and call back and see if you get a different answer!

Good luck. :D

I'm looking to change Chef Mickey's from 4 to 6. CRT needs to go from 2 to 3. I don't see a huge problem with CMickey's but CRT scares me especially this close to take off. Dates on the PS are CMickey Oct 20 and CRT Oct 18. I'll keep pluggin away!

Thanks-

Tracy

Mareed is exactly right; it depends if you're changing the table top size. If you are, they have to try to totally rebook, they won't alter the reservation.

We had the same issue of the 4 changing to 6 when in-laws decided to join us. We were unable to do it for PSB. So we'd planned to let the grandparents take our child to the breakfast and DH and I would grab something nearby (epcot early entry morning) but as it turned out, the in laws are flying out a day ahead of us so they wouldn't be at breakfast anyway.

I would be very wary of giving up a CRT reservation unless I had another one booked and confirmed first.

If you can't get CRT and don't want to divide the family up, maybe you can try for the 1900 Park Fare Cinderella dinner instead? It's not at the castle but you may have better luck fitting in your whole party.

Good luck!
