Adding to or Deleting a Day from Reservation

If I call and am able to reserve say 4 or 5 days at my resort and then my plans change a little and I need to delay check in by one day or delete the last day to return home earlier, can youdo this, or is it a whole other reservation to go thru. Say I book Sat-Wed nights and I need to check in on Sunday, can I call and just delete Sat and leave the rest of the reseration as is?

Going the opposite, if you add a day, does it stay the same reservation no. or is it a new reservation?

Hi - I just got back from a stay at BWV. I added a day after I made my original reservation with no problem. I got a new reservation form showing the new dates. However, I did this about five months before our trip. I believe timing is everything especially when deleting a day.

As long as you are doing this more then 30 days out, there are no repercussions at all. The reservation number stays the same for the shortened or lengthened reservation...as long as you tell them that you are adding to an existing vacation. People say to use the term "linked" I have never used that term, but it always was made clear that we were adding to an existing reservation.
