Adding to ADR

We have a ADR for 4 at BOG in Sept. We have to add 3 people to the ADR. I will call DVC on Monday to do this. Should I expect any problems doing this.

Yes, expect problems. I doubt you will be able to add even one to your reservation.

You can call today, though. The dining line is open.

Unless there is availability you will not get it. We couldn't do it on any popular restaurants. Even for two.

I would definitely expect issues adding people. I have been trying to add the other three members in my party to my CRT reservation and every time I call they tell me there is no availability. They advised that I either keep trying and hope something opens up, try to book a reservation for the other three people close to the time of my reservation if one becomes available but their would be no guarantee we will be seated together and the last option was to check when it is closer to the travel time as their is a penalty fee for people who do not cancel their reservations so sometimes things do get open. Good luck and hopefully you get what you need.

You will almost certainly have difficulty adding 3 people. Don't wait to call MS, call now 407-WDW-DINE.

And if that doesn't work keep checking everyday!

You can try calling, but most likely it won't be possible because BOG books up at 180 days so unless there's a cancellation for 3 just as you're calling, they won't be able to add anyone to your reservation.

You can try checking online to see if anything is available at this time for 7 or for 3. If a res for 3 is available at close to the time of your current res you can book it and when you get to BOG ask if it's possible for all of you to be seated together. It's only a request, but CMs will try their best to accommodate you, but be prepared to wait longer.

If nothing is currently available you can keep checking online multiple times a day to see if a cancellation comes up. You can also subscribe to the cancellation thread for September on this board.

I have to agree with everyone else here.. I can be almost certain there will be problems adding 3 people to a party of 4. Especially as hard as it is to get an ADR normally there. I can see if you had 3 people and you were adding 1... they seat 3 at a 4 top anyway so that is almost never an issue. But going from 4 to 7 is definitely harder. Maybe you'll be lucky... Stranger things have happened. Good luck!

We went from 3 ppl to 4 when my Mom decided to join us about ten days ago. (She had no idea the dining nightmare she was making )

Most of our reservations they were able to increase but several they were not able to. At all. We're going during the "lucky" time in November where there's not much open at all too.

adding 1 to an ADR for 3 is probably one of the easiest increases to do as 3 people would likely sit at 4 top anyway.

Yeah, it was about capacity though, not table space. Especially when you consider infants in the full count. We lost our one BOG which I haven't been able to pick up yet, a breakfast CRT, one CP, all our 'Ohanas, a Tusker House, and a 1900.

So I've been ADR hunting like crazy since our week there is basically ADR booked solid for character meals.
