Adding the Dining Plan to DVC reservations

I have multiple reservations for my upcoming disney vacation, We are doing a split stay between my new home BCV and WLV. Only wanted to do dining plan for first half of vacation. I'm concerned because I was able to add an extra day onto our BCV stay at the 7 month window. That gives us two reservation numbers @ BCV. If we add the Dining plan to our stay at BCV, will it be two seperate plans that expire, or will they honor it for all 4 nights.

If you added a day to your BCV reservation, then I believe you should have received a new confirmation number for the entire length of your BCV stay.... unless you are staying in two different types of rooms (i.e., a studio for 3 nights, then a 1 BR). Having the DDP for entire length of your BCV stay shouldn't be a problem. I would call MS back to confirm that the BCV reservation is linked together and get a new confirmation number.

When a day is added to an existing stay, the confirmation number doesn't change (at least it hasn't when I've done that), as ong as the added day is for the exact same unit type.

It wouldn't hurt to call MS, confirm that all the BCV days are under the same reservation/confimration number and that you have the DP for all BCV nights (if that is what you wanted).
