My adult daughter wants to join us for 4 nights at the end of our trip. We currently have a package booked for November, and there are no more rooms at the resort. We’re happy to pay the extra adult fee for those nights, but will she need to have the same tickets that we do? If I call to add her for the last four nights, will they allow us to separate the room and tickets instead of having a package? Also, can she use Magical Express if she is arriving a different date than our check-in date?

Generally, Everyone needs the same package if you have a package.
DME is fine, that’s based on your arrival/departure so as long as she has a resort reservation she can ride but without having the same package, it could get tricky

I’ve had one of my daughters stay for first part of trip and she was able to use DME both ways. No problem. But we didn’t have a package. We had room only and separate tickets.

When you check in at the resort, inform the front desk CM that you would like to add your daughter to your reservation for those four nights. Once she’s added you can set up DME for her. You will pay the extra adult fee, but won’t need to add her to your package if you add her at check in.

Buy a separate ticket for her for the # of days she'll be there and make park reservations for her. Once you arrive, stop by the front desk and have her added to your reservation; also set-up DME for her. Yes you'll have the extra adult fee but only for the nights she is there.
