Adding someone to an existing reservation?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but here goes...

We received a PIN in the mail for the Storybook Vacation promotion and would like to take advantage by booking sooner than later so we get the resort and room type of our choice. The problem is we have yet to receive commitment from one member of our party whether or not he'll be going along. So here's my question...

If we book the room and tickets package now (free park hoppers!) for a June stay and in a week or two he finally commits to going, will we be able to simply add him to our reservation by increasing the cost of our package by $25/night plus the cost of the multi-day ticket with a free park hopper? Has anyone had experience doing this? I just don't know if we need to wait (and risk losing our resort/room choice) or if it's an easy process to add him later.

So long as you aren't exceeding room occupancy, there's no reason Disney won't let you add him.

Thanks! We're actually planning on getting two rooms so that part should be a non-issue. I guess I'm more concerned with the tickets part of the package and if I can add him with the free park hopper. I guess we'll find out as the rest of the clan in my party is getting antsy for me to make the call.

Yes, if you add him to the package, he will get the same package components as everyone else!
