Adding pts at another home resort

I know I am getting ahead of myself since we just purchased 150pts @ BWV, but my question is, if we purchase,say 100pts at VGF(just an ex.) with our same UY would VGF ALSO be our home resort? If so, would our 2 resorts pts be merged together to where we could now book 250pts worth at VGF 11 months out? Or would we be able to book 100 pts worth at VGF at 11 months and then at 7 months add to our reservation with the remaining 150pts. Thanks

Points from multiple home resorts can not be combined until you reach the 7 month mark for reservations.

Yes you will have two home resorts. Having VGF as a second home resort doesn't mean you can use any points you like to book there 11 months out. When booking 11 months out you have to have enough of the right "currency" -- only VGF points are accepted to book VGF 11 months out, only BWV points are accepted to pay for a BWV reservation 11 months out.

You could book as many nights as possible with your VGF points 11 months out and try to add on additional nights 7 months out with your BWV points, subject to availability. You could also arrange for another VGF owner to transfer VGF points into your account and use those to book VGF 11 months out.

The POINTS have the home resort advantage when booking, not the member. So if, for example, you bought 100 GFV points, you could bank & borrow only those 100 points (for a total of up to 300 pts) for 11 month reservations at GFV. Any other home resort points sit on the sidelines, until the 7 month window opens.

Yes but with 2 home resorts and lets say 2 UY's. I can transfer points from one contract to another and the 7 month booking window would apply to the contract the points were transfered into.
