Adding Points to Existing DVC Resell

Ok just looked and it’s cheaper for us to buy a 14 day all parks ticket and the table service dinning plan then it is to buy a annual pass and the tables in wonderland car, strange I know.

We would need to come more then once a year for it to swing the other way.

OK thank you, just trying to find the best price of an annual pass outside Florida and DVC.

One thing i have noticed is with the Platinum pass you get 20% discount on select dinning, is this not the same as the TIW card?
The discounts for TiW, APs, and DVC members vary by location. In 2019 TiW is a significant benefit as the 20% discounts for AP and DVC have mostly disappeared. Though there are a few restaurants that take DVC or AP but not TiW (e.g. Diamond Horseshoe). Also, TiW has blackout days on major holidays (e.g. Easter) when the AP/DVC discount still applies.

One last thing you might want to take a look at is buying an AP for yourself to get the Photopass, free parking, and dining/shopping discounts and buy 14 day tickets for the rest of your family. I did this one year when we weren't quite staying long enough for it to make sense to buy APs for all of us.

We fly & thus I don’t know much about parking - but don’t you get free parking just by staying on site using your points?

Yes you do, the free parking is more of a perk for Florida Residents buying the annual pass as they will more then likely go home after visiting the park.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. The AP free parking is for the parks not the resort. The only time we don't have a car is when we fly and stay at our home resorts - BLT/BCV. But if we fly and stay somewhere else or take the Autotrain or drive then we have a car.
