Adding person to ADR

A couple of years ago we were there for FD and had an ADR for dinner for 4 at Le Cellier. My mom, who lives in Florida, decided to come to Epcot and join us that day. I called and tried to add her but they said there was no room for a party of 5. Instead of cancelling, I decided to just ask at check-in. We did that, and they seated us with no problem. Not sure if that's the norm, but that was our experience.

Good luck! :thumbsup2

2 years ago, the plan was for just DH & I to go during free dining. DD decided to join us after I had already made our ADR's. I called to add her to our existing ADR's and at most places we were able to get a ressie for 3 at close to the original time. However, at LeCellier, we had to change our 6:45pm ressie to a 1:30 lunch ADR. It worked out OK. So, be prepared that you may need to adjust times or have to cancel completely if you notify them in advance of the change. Wether or not they will be able to add someone when you show up for your ressie will depend on how crowded the restaurant is.
For a party of 3 going to 4 or a party of 5 going to 6 shouldn't be a problem.
but adding an addtional to an existing even number of people could be a problem as you would have to change table size.
Good luck
