Hi!

I've got a 2 night reservation at BLT 6/3 & 6/4 followed by a 3 night stay at BWV 6/5 -6/8

Can I add 2 people to just the night of 6/4? or do they need to be added for both 6/3 & 6/4?

My sister and her husband are driving down to visit us that Sat, and I'd like to have the option covered of them staying just in case the liquor flows too freely;)

We're not on the dining plan (for a change) since we have 3 non Disney Park days scheduled so not worried about that issue.

Should I have any problems?

Thanks!

If you're not on the DDP, there is no reason not to simply add them for the entire length of the reservation. I think it would be much easier than trying to divide up the reservation, even with the new reservations system You can have their keys printed when you check-in, and simply give them their keys on the night they are staying.

Don't they have to be present to check in? What about parking etc ? If they're checked in on Friday but don't have a pass or keys when they come in on Sat, would that be a problem?

Hmm actually thinking about it - do we check in at the Contemporary or the BLT building

1st non home stay~ lol

Thanks for the quick reply Chuck!

They don't have to be present to check in. In fact, they don't even need to check in unless you want them to have their own keys. You can just tell the front desk there's a chance they will be staying in the room the one night.

There shouldn't be a problem just adding them for the second night. When they arrive at the gate they would just say they were checking then, their names would be under your ressie. They would just have to check-in and get their keys.

They don't have to be present to check-in. Let the front desk know they will be arriving the next day, that way they can let the guard shack know, if they need to.

You check-in at the Contemporary, there is no check-in area for the villas.

I have checked people in on the day they arrived. I agree the easiest thing to do is add them to your reservation ( as long as it doesn't put you over the legal room occupancy) and get them a parking permit when you check in. They can then just tell the person at the gate they are joining you at the resort. If you will be somewhere other than the resort when they arrive you can leave their keys with the front desk.

Cool!

Thanks all,

I've got them added for just the BLT part.

I know they have plans for Sunday afternoon already so they'll only be staying for 1 night (Sat) if they need to.

<cough> and I latched onto a reservation for 2 at Victoria and Alberts Sunday night so I know I'm not available lol!:rotfl:

Thanks for the advice and info!

We went in March. My husband could not leave when my daughter and I could (work issues) - so we arrived on Tuesday and he arrived on Thursday. Not only did we have him added then - I was able to get him Magical Express for that day... which I did not think I could do. Very cool. So as long as it is within the occupancy limits - you are fine. In fact, I also added my friend (who lives in Orlando) to the room because she needed a parking pass when she came to visit! Plus then it was "legal" for her to use the pool with us etc. (We were at SSR) Room allows 4 - so we had 4 on the ressie!
