Adding people to existing FP

Can anyone tell me if it’s possible to add myself to a FP that someone else has made ?

We are linked as friends who plan together on our MDE but every time I try to add myself to a FP my friend has made just as I try to save it I get Olaf with his head rolling.

It is possible if there are still enough fastpasses for that ride. Although this morning when I logged on MDE I did get a message saying the fastpass part was down at the moment

It's possible, but I think MDE and Disney's website are just on the struggle bus as of late.

Another way that I've done this is found a FP that has an overlapping time and booked that for the person who wasn't included on the original FP so you can still do the attraction together.
