Adding park tickets to a rented reservation

We rented points from an owner and will visit WDW in March/April.

We are probably going to get a 6 day ticket without parkhopper or water parks or no-expire. Times are tough and you've got to strech your dollar.

I've looked at the "undercover tourist" and have the discount link. Seems it's only saving about 20 or so dollars on a 6 day ticket.

Question:

I really want my park tickets on my KTTW cards like we've had every other year. Just one less thing to worry about.

1. Should I just buy tickets from WDW?
2. Can they put tickets on my room keys?
3. Can they put seperatly purchased (undercover tourist) tickets on my room keys?
4. Any discounts for me renting DVC?
5. Any other creative ticket ideas I haven't thought of?

Thanks a bunch. First time we've rented so I'm a bit out of my element here.

Theme park tickets from authorized sellers can be put on your KTTW at the resort. DVC doesn't sell or offer discounts on daily theme park tickets.

Just to reiterate what the pp said: You absolutely can add tickets from undercover tourist to your room key - even if it is a reservation you made with rented points. Prior to purchasing DVC ourselves, we did this with no problem whatsoever.

Purchase the tix from undercover tourist.
Check in and get your room key.
Take room key and tix to the concierge, who will "add them" to your key.
Voila! No worries, mate!

Undercover Tourist posted costs include tax. Disney's web site does not. Make sure you are comparing similar.

You said you want to strech your dollar, then you say paying $20 more is ok. :confused3

I've bought through UndercoverTourist in the past and will buy from them in the future. I've never seen anything negative about them on the threads.

backyardponder: I think the op was indicating that if they were only going to save $20 total on their tix, that they would prefer to pay the difference just to get their part tickets on their room keys. It's good that you pointed out that the cost difference is actually more than that once you factor in tax and shipping costs.

Roveer: We, too, have used undercovertourist every year and think highly of them. Very much recommend. Also, we have rented points before, and once we purchased DVC ourselves, have rented out our own points. If you have any questions about the whole thing, feel free to PM me and I'd be happy to share whatever I can.

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for all the great info.

I was willing to forgo the 20 savings if it meant that I could get the tix on the KTTW cards.

But...

With all this great info. I will buy from UT, save more than 20 bucks because they are tax included AND get those tix put on my key cards. Most excellent. My cheapskate meter is on high!!!
