We already have reservations for Chef Mickey's and Rainforest Cafe, but now I need to add 1 adult to each. When I called Disney Dining, the cast member wanted to change my time for Chef Mickey's Dinner from 8:30 pm to 9:25 pm. I didn't change it because I thought that would be really late for my little ones. She told me to keep checking back or I could always just show up with the extra person and hope that they will seat him with us. My question is how likely is it that they will let us add this person on if he just shows up with us? Our reservation is for 7 people, why wouldn't they just be able to add one person to our reservation? I'm sure they are already seating us at a table for 8. What should I do to ensure that this person will be able to join us for dinner?
For the Rainforest Cafe, we split our group into two separate reservations, 3 and 4 people. Now I just want to add the one person, and they said that if I add that person to the reservation with 3 people the group may not all get to sit together. Again, wouldn't that group of 3 already have been at a 4 person table? The cast member told me that I could either wait and keep checking or take it and just request at the podeum that we all sit together or nearby each other. What would you do? Will it work if I request that we are seated nearby each other?
Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
