We have decided to buy the half board meal plan. I know it is not a fantastic deal or anything, but for us, it will take away some anxiety I have about trying to find a pre-paid bank card, and for once I know I will not be looking at the price tag. However, every time we try to call the number, I cannot figure out how to get it in English. Is there a way to do it online, or email? Or a number I can call for English?

what number are you calling? Did you book your hotel with DLP themselves?

yes we booked directly on the DLP french site during the 40% sale. We are trying to call 1 605 83 83.

Where are you? DLP has numbers for most countries, here is a list of the most common ones from DLRP Magic.

Just a thought have you worked out whether you're better off adding HB to your existing booking or upgrading under the new offer, if you have a standard cheyenne room booked, upgrading is choosing a buffalo or rio grande room, think they're about £12/night.
:)

I paid 522 Euro for 3 nights/4 days, and we would like the half board plus option. We are Americans living in Germany through the Military. So we are using an American Skype number to try and call. Sorry is this is confusing to anyone.

We're in the same boat as you guys, Americans in Germany. ;)

We called the French number last week to book (but from our home line, not Skype) and were pleasantly surprised when after a moment it said *press 2 for English*

All the previous calls were a nightmare to get thru to someone for us. Perhaps just use your home phone and call? It's only ever added about 1-2€ total to our phone bill..at max, and that's been when we've actually booked via phone, having been on the line 15 minutes or so.

You need to call +33 1 60 30 60 53. As Jill sugested ask them about upgrading under the new UK offer where meals are included.

I tried calling 3 different numbers, 1st one all French, second one got a press 2 for English ( Yay!!!) waited on hold for 43 minutes before having to hang up for work. Called again, got into English, waiting 1 hour 7 mins before being hung up on at 8:01PM. I sent an email also asking about the tour in English, and asking what is recommended for me. After trying 5 times to call ( from both Skype and our house phone) I am considering giving up on getting in touch with them.

Thank you all so much for helping me.

Oh no....I wonder why the hold was so long!?

We've never had to wait more than a minute or two...so sorry you're having a tough time getting ahold of them...hope you can sort it out soon!

The other option is to just charge your meals to your hotel room as your staying on site. Then you will only have one card transaction to worrie about. This is what I do, we charge all our store and meals purchased in Disney resturants and shops to our hotel room.

Depending on how long your posting is in Germany it might be worth opening up a German bank acount to make transactions in the Euro zone easier for you.
