Adding on nights at 7 months question.

Hi....I have a cashnight through MS booked on July 11th then 3 points nights following (BCV 1 bed) These have been linked and I think now behave as one ressie? (although two travel plans) I have been told I wont have to check in again and will get one set of magic bands.

Sooo...I want to add on two nights to the end (still BCV still 1 bed) I have no BCV points left so have to wait till the 7 month window and use my SSR points. Can I call MS on Dec 11th..7 months from July 11th when I check in to add on the nights of 15th and 16th to the ressie? Or do I have to wait till DEC 15th...7 months from July 15th?

Sorry just had another thought?...Is it possible to call MS on Dec 9th? and add on 2 nights at the beginning and two at the end..thus getting a ressie that is July 9th to July 16th? Then calling back on Dec 11th to cancel the 9th and 10th...thus having my full vacation of July 11th to 16th?

You have to wait until the 7 month window opens for the nights you want to add. You can call MS on 12/15 to add the night of 7/15 & 7/16 to your trip.

If you were allowed to call on 12/11, you would be getting a home resort priority with non-home resort points.

Yes,you can call on 12/9 to book 7/9 & 7/10. You could drop those nights later if you wish.

Not entirely sure about booking those the last two nights at that time. If there is still availability for the nights you have already booked (including the cash night) and availability for those last two nights, then yes, you could book all 6 nights on 7/9. Since you already have a cash night, it's not likely there will be availability for all 6 nights on 7/9, so you won't be able to book the last 2 nights online on 12/9, even if the last two nights are available. All nights in the sequence have to be available to book past the nights after the first.

If the nights you have already booked are sold out and the two you want are still available, technically, you would have to wait until the 7 month window opens for 7/15 to add the last 2 nights. But maybe you will get a CM to do it for you anyway.

I am not really sure what MS will do, especially since you have a night on cash in the middle of all this. If those last two nights are available & if MS will book them for you, there is a chance you could lose the nights you already have. MS would have to cancel the 3 night reservation and then book the 6 nights you want. Again, the cash night in the middle complicates all this.
