Adding on at 2 resorts - combined for incentives?

Hi - just wondered whether, if you add on at 2 resorts at the same time, whether you then qualify for the higher discount tier?

The reason I ask is because, when I joined DVC last year, I purchased 100 points at AKV & 100 points at BLT, and qualified for the 200 point pricing tiers for both resorts at that time.

Do you think the same will apply for add ons, or was that just a lucky 'perk' for being a new customer?

If they did it for you before it is likely your guide will be able to get it for you again. Not certain - but likely.

I did the same last year - added on 100 pts at 2 resorts and qualified for the 200 pt level discount. Our guide didn't think the combined pts qualified last year - I had to have him call QA last time to determine that I could in fact do it.

I'm in the process of doing an add-on at BLT (100) and VGC (50) and forgot to ask about combining the pts for the incentive levels. I haven't sent back our paperwork yet - so I'll place a call to our guide to check.

I got a call back from our guide - he said we can't combine the point level for the incentives since they're offered as different incentives (he double checked with his manager).

So I guess either the add-on incentives are structured a little differently now vs. when we initially bought, or Disney has a little more bend to get you in on your initial buy-in.

thats a shame - but at least now we know and can calculate accordingly - its not going to stop me buying, it would just have been nice to save a few more $$!! - good luck with your purchase!

hmm... I was allowed to do that when we added on this january. I guess it depends on your guide's super?
