adding on a day to ticket with S/P/D promotion

I believe we will be going to Disney for 4 days, however, I was thinking of booking a 3 day ticket and adding the 4th day when we get there if everything goes as planned. The reason I am considering this is our plane is supposed to land in Orlando at 2pm....MK closes at 8 that day. We are flying from Chicago in the middle of January so there is a good possibility of delays. I would hate to purchase the 4th day and be delayed getting in.

My question is if I purchase a 3 day ticket through S/P/D when I go to add the extra day will it only charge me the additional $20 as normal or will it charge me more since I am paying less for the tickets?

We added a day to our tickets last Feb (4days to 5) on SPD and it was only like $20 for the 2 of us.
