Adding nights to a current reservation?

DH's work schedule is allowing us to stay an additional two nights on our June 5-10 trip. I'm inside my 4 months prior to travel window. Is it possible to add two nights to the existing reservation (assuming there is availability)?

Yep, you can modify a points reservation (add or remove) up to 31 days before without any penalty.
You can add days at any time without penalty

The only thing you can't do within a 4 month window is based on the end of your use year. You cannot bank points in those last 4 months (but can borrow anytime), you cannot book and travel on a Disney Cruise, Concierge collection (Disney hotels like moderates) or any other trade options.

Thank you! Can this be done online or by phone only? At this point I just want to check availability so I can see if I need to go another route.

If BWV (where our current reservation is) isn't available, could I book at another resort?

You can add days online. (Removing days online is the challenge)

If points are available, I would book elsewhere so I wouldnt risk being "homeless".
Ideally you would book at another villa using the same or fewer points as the extra BWV days(so you don't have to borrow or risk stranding extra points)

It's very easy to check availability online. If you don't have an online account set up you can also call in and MS will check. If there is availability and you want to add the days I'd call in to do that. They will just extend your current reservation to include the additional days. If you do it online you'll still have to contact MS to have the reservations combined together so might as well call to do it.

MS will combine the reservations if you ask by email. So you can just place a new reservation online and then send the request for them to be combined (if you get it at BWV). I've done that a few times to combine reservations I built using waitlist or that cross use year.

I ended up having to move to SSR, but I'm excited to try a different resort!! MS was super helpful and handled everything for us!
