Adding MaxPass everyday...Q about paying and adding...

We are going June 20-23 and beginning to freak out a bit over how much busier it seems like it's gonna be than what we originally thought when we planned these dates months and months ago.

So, rather than the two days of MP we planned, we've decided to just suck up the cost and add it all four days. Can anyone tell me if we can add all the days at once? We bought tickets from LMTclub.

And can we pay with Disney GC's or does it have to be a credit card?

i have a few Qs myself. if you add 2 tickets to 1 account, does it always pull 2 fastpasses? or can u say, do 1 fastpass here, 2nd fastpass there.

Maybe you can, but we couldn't figure out how to add all days at once, nor pay any way other than a credit card. I think the only way you can add all days up front is to buy direct from Disney, but there may be a way. We tried to pay using our Chase Disney Rewards Card, but it wouldn't allow us to do it.

From what I understand, you have to pay each morning (unless you buy your tickets from Disney direct and add it at time of purchase) and you cannot pay with gift cards.

DisBuckMan: Thank you so much for posting that you weren't able to pay with your Chase Rewards Card.. I have been trying to find out if it would work. I thought there was a chance since the points card appears to have the same "set up" as a credit card. Too bad.

No, you have to add it each day, and you do have to pay with credit card. It takes literal seconds (my daughter and I have Maxpass on our APs, but my husband does not. We've added him five times, though, and all you do is click "pay" and it asks for your credit card security code and you input it, and you're done).

In fact, last time we added it, we'd gotten a "new" credit card (just an updated expiration date), but it made me add the card brand-new, and it still only took seconds. It actually has a photo box that you just hold your card up to, and it automatically inputs all of the info! I still had to input the security code, but it was done by the time we walked under the train tunnel right inside the gates.

You can split them up. Each ticket will have it's own box to check each time you pull a FP, so you can have one checked/the other unchecked and grab one FP, then go back and check the other and grab a different FP.

Entire party with one transaction. The first time you do it, you simply scan the bar code of all the tickets you want to purchase MaxPass for. After that, you don't have to scan anymore, just select which ones you want to purchase them for.

@Albort No worries on the 'hijack'. That would be a question I'd have tomorrow lol. We will have some wanting FP's for some attractions and not others also. Glad you asked!

Thank you to everyone who answered! We will plan to add everyday. I had bought just one of our tickets from Disney and saw the option to add all 4 days but at that point, we were only going to do two days of MP so I didn't add it.

I mean, you still may decide it's not worth adding on one of the days and be glad you have some flexibility. Let's say you knock out all of the FP rides on days 1-2 (probably multiple times, for some) and then decide to focus on less "big rides" on day 3 so you don't bother with MP, and then you can just add it again on day 4 to get the Pixar stuff. Seems like a pretty viable plan to me...

Yes, definitely a good option if we have gotten a lot done! What is the preview event on the 22nd? I’m guessing we may avoid DCA a lot of that day nd maybe have more relaxed touring at DL mostly. No MP that day perhaps?

Wondering too. What would be the point of adding them to the app if couldn’t use them from the app but you never know with Disney lol.

Also, do your lmt tickets show a MM in the app (assuming you have 3+ days)?? Ours don’t but Disney direct ticket does.

They do not on the app. All of them say "5 day park hopper ticket" and age, but nothing about MM mentioned. On the emails I printed out, they say "5 day park hopper ticket with Magic Morning early access."
