Adding items to reservation, do we lose our early reservation priority spot?

I have to add an item to our reservation for July 15, two bedroom at BWV. I made the reservation daily at the 11 month window (it is our home resort) and made no changes at all, just asked for pool view and close to elevator.

Will adding a request for a high chair, thereby updating my reservation, make me or even have a slight chance of losing my spot in the reservation order. We really want a pool view even though we know we may not get anything.

Or should we just request a high chair at check in and risk them not having any left for us.

Please, any help would be appreciated.

It shouldn't matter, I think they go by the original reservation date. Being you want a pool view, you should get it since they have more rooms over the pools and more people request Boardwalk view.
