Adding Hotel to Tickets Later On?

My husband and I are tentatively considering a late January 2020 trip. We'd need to buy our tickets in early July 2019, so we could make our ADRs at the 180 day mark. Can we add hotel reservations to those tickets later on? The 15-25% discount traditionally offered on hotel rooms won't open up until October 2019, based on past history.

You don't need tickets to make ADRs. You DO need tickets to use FastPass+.

Great! I'll start working on ADRs in late July - then book my hotel and tickets together in October! That puts me at a disadvantage for Fastpasses, but I should still be able to get some good things!

Anyone can book dining reservations at the 180 day mark, but without a Disney hotel reservation you will only be able to book one day at a time.

Packages for January 2020 should be online in June of 2019. A $200 deposit is all you will need to make your booking. Then in July you can make all of your ADRs, and if a discount comes out for your dates, you may be able to have it applied. I suggest using a Disney travel agency for this. Dreams Unlimited Travel, the sponsor of these boards is great. They will keep on eye on discounts for you as well.
