We will be staying for a week in BLT in March. My son will not be able to join us until mid week. Should I add him to the reservation for the full week or just for when he is actually going to arrive?

We are in a two bedroom so there is no capacity issues. I was thinking that it would be easiest to just add him to the full reservation, get him his Magic Band and such and just have it sitting in the room waiting for him.

I'm trying to be able to get all our FP+ reservations together. Also the cost difference between a 5,6 or 7 day park pass is not that much.

Any thoughts or how do other folks handle these situations? Thanks.

If you are not using one of the dining plans, add him to the reservation now.

Use his Magic Band, for the days he is not with you at the parks, to book some solo FPs for someone in the group.

I added him to the reservation and bought a ticket for our full trip. I linked the ticket to his MB. This way he is covered if he can come earlier and I can make FP+ for our whole group at the same time.

Thanks for advice.

It may not work, because it won't see him as entered the park.

It worked for me for my last trip.
DW did not feel well at one point and stayed in the room. I went to the park and went on her's and mine FP+ rides.
