Adding friends/family to your MDE account

I have an account with MDE and DH is on it. We are travelling with friends who will be sharing our dvc villa. I linked our reservation last night to my account but our friends don't have an MDE account yet. I'm hoping to help them set one up this weekend.

Will my linked reservation automatically update when they make their account? I was asked by the site for both of their emails...so when they create their own accounts will they automatically be joined up with me when the site recognizes the matching email and names?

Once they have created their MDE accounts, they have to invite you to become friends, or you have to invite them to become friends, or family, if you want them to be able to see the reservation information.

I made our resort reservation, dinner reservations, and ticket purchases through my MDE account. MY DH has his own MDE account and we are linked as family. He is a guest on all of the reservations and fp+'s. He can see all the reservations on his MDE account. He can also make fp+'s for both of us. It would be the same for your friends who are sharing a room and creating their own MDE accounts.
